West Midlands Nail & Beauty Academy are proud to announce another competition win, Worldskills Nail Competition at the regionals which was held at Walsall College on 5th July. Stephanie Orchard one of our Level 3 Nail Technology students really nailed it! We are also so proud of Natalie Anderson who also competed in the competition, who also creating an amazing set of nails too. Two very talented nail artists who have both completed Level 3 Nail Technology at the academy. 
She had previously won at UK Nail Tech in May 2nd and 3rd place in nail category. We are just so proud of Stephanie who is now working for Katie Barnes at Simply Nails in Warwick, who is a champion in the nail industry and has won multiple awards herself. We are hoping Stephanie will hopefully gain a place in the National Finals now in Birmingham at the Skills Show, fingers crossed. She has a very bright future ahead of her, we will be watching her progress over the coming years.

We are also proud to present 2 new tutors to the academy Louise Boulton and Margaret Parker, who are both ex students of mine, Louise Boulton has 10 years commercial experience and works in a Beauty Salon for Sue Bains an ex college lecturer at Wolverhampton College, Louise has a vast amount of commercial experience and will be an asset to the academy. Margaret Parker who has a vast amount of experience in training staff at Birmingham City Council who is well qualified in the beauty industry, who took redundancy and re trained in beauty and nails who will also be an asset to the academy. Rest assured all of our teaching staff have the experience and the right qualities for the academy to bring the best qualities out of our students.
