MEET LOUISE
A highly successful beauty therapist, Louise Boulton has over 13 years of expertise working within the beauty sector. Throughout this time she has developed a wealth of hands-on experience working in a number of leading salons, enabling her to provide our students with invaluable knowledge.
An alumni of Wolverhampton City College, Louise also launched and created her own beauty therapy business called Ooh Hair & Beauty in Coseley. Along with our other experts, this makes her an ideal mentor for any of our learners who hold aspirations to run their own beauty company. After running the business successfully for a number of years, Louise set-up her own home-based beauty salon working from a cosy, comfortable log cabin in her garden. Aptly named “The Pamper Pod”, she quickly developed a loyal customer base that continues to enjoy her wide-range of beauty treatments.
EXPERTISE
Louise is a specialist in advanced facial training and has been sharing her unrivalled expertise with students at West Midlands Nail and Beauty Academy for the last four years. Having gained “expert status” with Dermalogica, she is one of a very few highly-qualified experts in their products. Furthermore, she is also qualified in Dermaplaning facials, teaching our students the finest techniques and industry best practice.
A passionate advocate of the beauty industry, Louise remains keen to pass on her wealth of knowledge to budding beauty therapists who wish to replicate her success in their own careers. She believes it is important to act as a role model for both the industry and her students. With her knowledge, she’s able to add substantial value to our learners, teaching them to an excellent standard and helping them to develop a sought-after, high-quality skill set within the industry.
QUALIFICATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS
Louise continues to ensure she is up to date with the latest industry technologies and treatments. Like all of our experts, she completes a minimum of 30 hours of continuous professional development (CPD) every year in order to remain at the pinnacle of her profession.

I recently attended a two-day Facial Diploma course at the Academy. My tutor Louise was fabulous – honestly so kind – and 100% knew what she was on about. I learnt so much in these two days.
