Entry requirements: qualified in manicure, acrylic or gel nail enhancements.
Qualification: VTCT Level 3 Award in Nail Enhancements.
The Level 3 VTCT Award is a 8 week Nail Enhancement using advanced nail enhancement techniques.
During the 8 Week Acrylic Level 3 Course you will learn the following:-
• Prepare & consultation.
• Contra-indications.
• Health & safety
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Tip application and blending, sculpting pink & white acrylic
• How to apply coloured acrylic & correct ratio of powder to liquid
• Cover french opaque overlays and the maintenance procedure
• Safe removals methods.
• Effective aftercare advice.
This course is more in depth than our Level 2 Nail Technology course it is an advanced course in acrylics,this course covers pink & white sculpted nails using forms and also applying tips and overlays, the use of coloured acrylic powders, it involves homework, 5 practical assessments, and theory exams in 6th week. This qualification will allow you to work in a salon or rent a room in a salon or rent a nail table or become a mobile nail technician and become self employed.
Models are required for this course for practical assessments.
