MEET KATIE

Katie Willetts is an esteemed health and beauty specialist with over 20 years of expertise within the industry. A versatile professional, she is qualified across a range of disciplines including barbering, hairdressing and nail technology. She’s also unique amongst our tutors in that she was once a student at West Midlands Nail and Beauty Academy, giving her a special insight into what it’s like on both sides of the classroom! In 2016, she trained with us and added the Level 3 in Nail Technology to her repertoire of qualifications.

Like our other experts, Katie is a successful business owner who runs her own mobile hair and nail salon. Over the years she has developed a loyal customer base who continue to use her for her expertise and exemplary service. Yet it’s not just her customers who have recognised Katie’s high level of skill. She’s been nominated for industry awards as Best Nail Technician of the Year two years in a row and has won numerous nail competitions at UK Nail Tech at the NEC in Birmingham. Furthermore, she was also victorious in the professional category in the Mixed Media Nail Art competition, making her one of the best nail technicians in the United Kingdom. We’re proud to have such a successful, high-skilled professional within our team of wonderful tutors.
